EXPERIENCE AN EASTER WEEK FULL OF COLOUR

0000Get away to Estepona and discover the spectacular Artistic Murals route that makes this pretty Andalusian village a real open air museum

Combine this cultural activity with a comfortable seaside room, and plenty of sport and leisure options for the entire family

22 February 2017. Lots of people associate Estepona with sun, sea and sand tourism and with shopping, but this delightful Andalusian village with white streets and a recently renovated historical centre is one of the great hidden attractions on the Costa del Sol, particularly regarding its range of cultural options. Over recent years, Estepona has become a true open air museum thanks to its original Artistic Murals Route.

Easter Week in Estepona

This route is a cultural attraction, inviting visitors to take a stroll through the village’s different neighbourhoods and enjoy more than 30 spectacular works of art decorating some of the most emblematic houses and public and private buildings. The murals are of extremely high quality, created by  artists both from the local area and further afield, such as Curro Leyton, Eric Aman, Conchi Álvarez, Javier Infantes and Blanca Larrauri, among many others, who all have one thing in common: they pay homage to the town of Estepona and uncover different aspects of its seafaring, agricultural, urban and artistic traditions.

Enjoy this unique attraction and, seeing as you’re in Southern Spain, combine it with a few days of rest and relaxation by the Mediterranean; take long strolls on the beach, play your favourite sport, sample some exquisite cuisine and pamper yourself in a cosy Spa. Our recommendation? Fuerte Estepona hotel, look no further!
