Following in the footsteps of Fuerte El Rompido in 2022, this year Fuerte Conil-Resort is the protagonist of the campaign that Fuerte Hoteles is carrying out during October. It aims to publicise its ambitious environmental protection programme, whose hashtag is #NUESTROCOMPROMISOESFUERTE.
Guests staying at Fuerte Conil-Resort during October will be able to purchase the reusable bottle that the hotel chain has created to promote the use of reusable packaging and reduce the consumption of single-use plastics, many of which, in coastal areas, end in the sea.
On the 19th of October 2023. After last year’s success, when hundreds of Fuerte El Rompido customers and neighbours of the area got bottles sustainably designed by Fuerte Hoteles. They were manufactured BPA (bisphenol A) free and made of materials that allow them to be endlessly reused. That’s the reason the hotel chain decided to repeat the experience in other of its most emblematic hotels.
It’s the case of Fuerte Conil-Resort, an absolute reference to respect for the environment, because it was the first hotel in Spain to get the Quality and Sustainability Certificates ISO 9001 and IDO 14001.
As well as the others beach hotels of Fuerte Hoteles, Fuerte Conil-Resort is located seafront. A sea that attracts thousands of tourists to this establishment from Cadiz every year. A sea that the hotel chain has always wanted to protect with endless actions, among which the sale of this bottle for solidarity purposes during October is one of the most important.
Decorated with a seahorse, the bottle has a nominal cost of €0.50, destined to the Mares limpios campaign of Fuerte Hoteles.
People who buy it will find a QR Code, which allows them to find what this sustainable initiative is about, whose aim is to protect the seas and oceans. They will also find the other projects that Fuerte Hoteles is carrying out to protect its environment, to reduce the CO2 emissions into the atmosphere and, thanks to this, reduce the carbon footprint that its hotels produce.
